to me it all depend on what you want. If you want good RPG's, good action games, and good sports with ok graphics then you get PS2.
If you want a solid line-up of kid friendly games and innovative games you get GC
If you want kickass graphics, a solid saving option, and up and coming game development then you get the X-Box.... I think each system has something to offer which is why I have all 3

whoa... all three? I dont own one, but have played on all of them. I personally feel that XBOX is superior to the other two, while GC is the weakest. The graphics on a GC are reminiscent of PS1 or N64 and the games aren't that strong, (excluding super smash bros) while XBOX is the closest thing to my ass-whooping computer in graphics and has some great games (halo anyone) But, I will forever stand by my belief that PC rules over all... I still like Consoles a lot though!

Personal opinion on GC graphics... the graphics are better than PS2. But you really have to find the games that really stand out. Games like Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil, Soul Calibur 2.

        back on the topic.
All three have their advantages, but PS2 has the best advantage because of the variety of exclusive games and RPG. Xbox on the other hand has great online support, graphics and amazing audio quality. Gamecube is only great with their exclusive games but their games are something that you shouldn't miss, like Viewtiful Joe, Ikaruga (unless you have the Dreamcast Japanese version), Legend of Zelda Wind Waker.

        So my ranking?
        Best in technology: Xbox
        Best in online support: Xbox
Best in volume of games every month: PS2
        Best in quality games: Gamecube

That's why I have all. So many games that I really can't miss out.
